How to Make Reusable Cloth Baby Wipes

December 2, 2019

In our world where everything is disposable, having a baby can be expensive and create a LOT of garbage waste.  But it doesn't have to be that way!  You can make your own reusable cloth baby wipes that save you money, are more gentle on your baby's skin and prevent waste from sitting in a landfill.

The world your baby will inherit from you will be cleaner, less polluted, and your baby will learn what resourcefulness looks like.

Every day I work towards reducing the amount of waste we create.

One great way to reduce trash and save money is to make your own pH balanced cloth baby wipe solution! It is SO easy.  It probably saves us about $156 per year.

Rose water  1/4 cup

Alcohol free thayers witch hazel 1/4 cup

Johnson's Baby Wash

What you'll need:

A jar or container for the wipes (with a top of course)

A squeeze bottle 20oz

Flannel baby wipes from Amazon or MamaBear Babywear:

And that's it! pH balanced (pH of this is about 5.5), gentle, cleansing baby wipes!

Heres a quick video explaining how to make the wipes:
